Zakynthos, also known by its Italian name Zante is one of the most exotic Greek islands sitting in the heart of the hypnotizing Ionian sea.

Although the island is relatively small, Zakynthos features a surprisingly large number of stunning beaches and is also home to the worldwide famous Navagio (Shipwreck) beach and especially the bay of Laganas, is the most important shelter for the endangered species of caretta-caretta in Greece.
