Sporades
White sandy beaches, pine forests, marine parks
Legend says that the gods created the Sporades islands (scattered islands ) by tossing coloured pebbles in the Sea, reflecting its name and colours of green hills, sapphire blue waters, white sandy beaches and it is where the ‘Mama Mia’ movie was filmed.
In the Sporades archipelago you can find the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros surrounded by many uninhabited islets in a marine park home to dolphins and monk seals.
