Detailed Itinerary

1st day Arrival in Athens
Arrival at Athens airport, we meet and transfer you to your hotel in the centre of Athens.
Rest of day at leisure. You can stroll around the pedestrian streets of Plaka and enjoy a meal or a drink in one of the numerous restaurants and coffee shops, overlooking the Acropolis.

2nd day Athens Sightseeing & Sounion tour
Pick up from your hotel for the half guided day tour. You will have a tour of the city, visit all the famous sites of the modern and ancient Athens. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church. Of course the highlight of the tour is the visit of the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum.
Return to your hotel around 13.30.

3rd day Full day cruise to Saronic Islands
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel for the transfer to the port of Pireaus, where your one day cruise starts to the beautiful 3 islands of the Saronic Gulf. Take a day cruise from Athens to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina for a relaxing day on the sea.
With all your transport, transfers and buffet lunch organized, you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely day cruise with free time on each island to explore. After transferring from Athens to Piraeus by motor coach, you’ll set sail for the island of Poros, where you’ll have free time for strolling and shopping .
Next, it’s on to the island of Hydra. You will have about 1 hour and 45 minutes at leisure to enjoy the unique charms of Hydra island, whose amphitheater shape once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island, whose old traditional stone houses and mansions silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history. Upon arrival in Egina (Aegina) you can either join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (cost not included) or take a walk around the main town. Aegina is one of the Saronic islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf. The lovely island is only 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Athens, and is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months. After sailing back to Piraeus port you’ll be transferred to Athens.

4th day Athens & Epidaurus – Mycenae
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel to explore with this guided full day tour the remains of the ancient city of Mycenae a major centre of Ancient Greek civilization. Through the Corinth Canal (short stop) we will continue to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, the Palace, the Lionesses Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon. After lunch we continue our tour trough Argos to Nauplia with its Venetian fortress of PALAMIDI and the fortified islet of BOURTZI (short stop). Next stop Epidaurus, where we will visit the ancient theatre probably most famous for its ancient theatre with amazing acoustics. Return to Athens and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

5th day Athens Santorini
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Athens airport. Departure to Santorini and after arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy a meal or a coffee overlooking the magnificent volcano view! Overnight.

6th day Santorini
All day at leisure to explore the fantastic view and take photos to capture every single beauty of Santorini island. Overnight.

7th day Santorini Athens
Depending on your schedule, pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport to catch your departure flight to Athens.
